The Sandton Opulent Experience is a little taste of the soft life, we get around the richest square mile in Africa, check out some green buildings and find out about the fortune 500 companies that occupy them, and hear a little history of how this opulence came to exist.
The Richest Square Mile
Sandton is a small district in the north of Johannesburg mostly known for its riches, considering the fact that it’s the richest square mile in Africa. There is a little more to know about this place, including the history of how it came to exist, why it was built, and the people that occupied the space in the 1960s before it started to become what it is today.
True Opulence
On this experience, you will get to learn about Rivonia road and the fortune 500 companies that occupy the green buildings in the area. You will also learn about what it means to exist in this district whether it be for business or pleasure purposes and for the most part, we check out the newly built “Leonardo building” (the tallest residential building in Africa) with 55 stories, we hear about the breathtaking art pieces in the building and enjoy a deliciously prepared lunch.
