Nan Hua Temple - Day 1

I'm sure you have been intrigued by the global phenomenon that meditation and mindfulness has become. With our modern day stresses, technology overload and fast paced lifestyles, many of us have been feeling disconnected with the world and ourselves.

Learn more about meditation and mindfulness practices which are said to have dated back to 5000-3500 BC.

We take you to Nan Hua, the name of the South African branch for the Humanistic Buddhist order, Fo Guang Shan, who has made it their mission to spread Humanistic Buddhism to all the continents on Earth.

Back to your roots - Ndebele Cultural Village, Day 1

Stories passed down from our elders have been lost over time. Many of us have somewhat lost connection to our traditional roots. Understanding the colonial impacts on our cultures is something of importance to the youth of today.

Visiting the Ndebele Cultural village is an opportunity to engage with a traditional community, and where you can follow the last 1000 years of Ndebele history. The people in this region are linguistically related to KwaZulu-Natal’s Zulu tribe and the Ndebele of Zimbabwe.

The Ndebele's vivid geometric designs and striking traditional clothing are amongst Africa’s most eye-catching, as you’ll discover when you visit.

Graskop Gorge Lift, Gods Window & Blyde River Canyon - Day 2

This day is all about getting away from our screens and getting connected with nature. We humans are hardwired to need exposure to the natural world. Spending time in nature can have great cognitive and psychological benefits. Let your worries fade away as we start the new day off with a dramatic sunrise viewing from the top of the Graskop Gorge.

We then head to Gods Window, a place known to have inspired and awed thousands of painters and photographers from all over the world.

Ending the day at Blyde River Canyon the third-largest canyon on Earth (behind the Grand Canyon and the Fish River Canyon), you'll be left feeling inspired.

*Please note that Graskop Gorge is not included in the basic package
